One of my favorite bands from Houston at my local Galveston VFW on a Saturday night. Doesn’t get any better than that folks. First time Union of Human had a song dedication, that was pretty fuckin bad ass. Mlee dedicated Lost in the Translation as I had mentioned she didn’t play it at the last gig and I was hoping to hear it. Much appreciated. Always good to see Clinton (Guitar) & Steve (Bass). If you’re not aware they are also members of The Linus Pauling Quartet whom have some dates coming up soon. And Joey Mains on the drums. Jesus Christ Joey – who taught you how to do that? Anyways, that was a really, really fun night. Awesome show, sounded wonderful. Can’t thank ya’ll enough for comin down to G-town and showing us a good time. The VF was great, I’m looking forward to more shows there for sure. Shout out to Evak & Ruiners for splittin the bill. Both of which did an excellent job. Shout out to Wake the Zine of course for putting on these amazing shows and bringing my top faves from Houston to rock us out down here. Also I stole their footage of Sea Babies and edited it into my video. Another shout out to Live Visuals for providing sound. And last but not least a very grand shout out indeed to Lauren Eddy (perhaps the bravest person in the known universe.) Well I hope ya’ll enjoy the video, not the first time I’ve filmed Hearts of Animals and definitely won’t be the last. Maybe I’ll figure this thing out one of these days. Oh, apologies for the lateness of this review I’ve just been swamped with shit here lately. If we could only try to get some sleep, right? Thanks a bunch -Human Jones
